Account & data deletion

This page explains how to request the permanent deletion of your account in the Didder Chat & Live application (com.didderlive) and of the personal data associated with it. There are two ways: within the application itself (recommended) or by e-mail.
1. Ways to request deletion
Option A — within the application (recommended)
While logged into your account, go to Settings → Account & Security → Delete account and confirm. Since you are already authenticated, this is the safest and fastest method: your login itself proves that the account is yours, without the need for e-mail or additional confirmation. The deletion is permanent.
Option B — by e-mail
If you cannot access the application, send an e-mail to support@didderlive.com with the subject "Exclusão de conta Didder", providing your username in the application.
For security reasons, the e-mail must be sent from the same e-mail address linked to your Didder account. We only process requests coming from the registered e-mail — requests sent from another address, or that we cannot verify, will not be processed, precisely to prevent another person from deleting your account by impersonating you.
If you no longer have access to the registered e-mail, we can confirm your identity through facial verification: contact us at the e-mail above and, when requested, perform the facial verification in the application. If the verification matches the identity associated with the account, we confirm that it is you and proceed with the deletion. We may request additional information when necessary. The request is processed within up to 30 days.
2. What is deleted
- Profile (name, nickname, photos and profile information);
- Posts, messages and interaction history;
- Coin balances and Virtual Items (not recoverable);
- Notification token and device identifiers;
- Identity verification images, where they exist.
3. What may be retained
We may retain records strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations — such as purchase transaction records and security/anti-fraud records — for the period required by law. After that period, they are deleted or anonymized.
4. Important
- Deletion is irreversible: the account cannot be reactivated and content and balances cannot be recovered.
- Purchases made in the stores (App Store/Google Play) follow the refund policies of the stores themselves.
